OUR VALUES
Shady Grove exists to bring people into a personal relationship with Jesus and to enable them to grow in love for God, love for others, and love for the community.
It is our desire to always “Move Forward in FAITH” by stressing these 5 marks of a healthy church.
F - Fellowship
We seek to bring everyone into a community focused on the love and truth of Jesus. (Acts 2:42-47) We strive to be a church that reaches every generation and believe it is important for the church family to be multi-generational.
A - Announce
We seek to share the gospel of Jesus with our neighbor’s community and world. (Acts 1:8) We have been commissioned by Jesus to be witnesses in our community and world.
I - Invest
We seek to build God’s kingdom through generously investing our, time, talent, and treasure. (2 Corinthians 9:6-8)
T - Train
We seek to disciple ourselves and others through Bible reading and study, prayer, and spiritual disciplines in order to draw closer to Jesus and lead others to Him. (Colossians 1:28)
H - Honor
We seek to celebrate Christ and glorify God by gathering together for inspiring corporate worship. (Hebrews 12:28-29) We believe God is calling us to give our best each week when we gather for worship.
